It has been some time (25 days to be exact) since I update this blog of time.
Where have I been? You can actually find me on my main blog.
The other time, I was sharing with you guys that I have been experimenting with Ba Wang Hair Strengthening shampoo and a reader has posted his enquiry on the post "Ma Guang Hair diagnosis": asking me whether Ba wang is really that useful?
I have bought Ba Wang Hair Strengthening Shampoo for $7.50 but I rue my purchase when I learnt later that there is actually another product from Ba Wang which deals with hair loss. However when I check out the product at a number of stores, this Ba Wang hair loss shampoo is sold together with the hair conditioner and not separate. This bothers me as I do not use a hair conditioner. In fact, I thought that using it after shampooing may result in further loss of hair as there is definitely more brushing of the hair. I learnt from the owner that the Ba Wang hair loss shampoo is also sold separately though I have not seen it before. Having just bought the Ba Wang hair strengthening shampoo and not to waste it, I stuck to it for the time being to see how effective it was.
But after using for more than 1 week, my hair loss saw no improvement at all and I had since kept my Bawang hair strengthening shampoo.. it does not work for me. It was then that I used back my old Pregaine shampoo and I see small improvements in my hair loss condition with the switch to Pregaine.
Thanks Sameer’s comment to my post “My Progress”, you have shared with me. It is a well-thought reply. When it comes to hair loss, the only scientifically proven methods and drugs are Propecia, Minoxidil and Hair transplant when hair loss comes to the last stage but the former two are taken for life and do not work for all.
Dear readers, especially those seeking for cures to their hair loss woes, a suitable shampoo is an important arsenal in the combat against hair loss but the search for a suitable shampoo is always an elusive one. You can ask me: I have been using, changing and testing a number of shampoos already over the past 3 years of fight against hair loss.
I think Pregaine is still okay for me so far, will still monitor and update you readers soon.
