Dear Readers,
My hair is getting thinner and thinner everyday!
I have first noticed my hair loss problems in July 2006 and have consulted top dermatogists and doctors, spent a fortune BUT none of them believe I am balding! They have said I still have lots of hair at that time! But if they were to see the state of my hair now, they would retract their statements most likely!
It is sad to notice my hair getting finer and thinner by the day, the balding patches getting more and more. I have done so many things all these two year: adjusting my diet, exploring all kinds of shampoos, lotions, treatments, but none work!
Reading this, if you suffer from hair loss as I did, you may be disappointed! Even more disappointed will be those who have spent even more money at some treatment centres which are just wanting your money and do nothing to improve your scalp.
Whenever I wake up, dozens of hair were found strewn around my pillows, my floor, totalling 30+! Whenever I wash my hair, 20 to 30 hairs are found at the sink! Whenever I shampoo or comb my hair, I would have to bear with the feeling of really getting down to the 'bare essentials' of my hair!
I should not have done the stupid laser therapy! This is side effect, of the laser therapy! Last time, my hair is so thick and bushy that it is so unbelievable that I am balding now.
I don't know, maybe I am suffering from some insidious diseases that is wrecking havoc inside my body, causing massive hairfall by the day....
According to traditional chinese medicine, kidney problems may be associated with hair fall problems.
I may want to explore traditional chinese medicine, this is the last frontier that I have not explored to date. I know of regaine, propecia, but the thought of having to use them for LIFE is worrying for me, as I do not have the money to afford them.
My routine as of now is:
1) Scalp massage in the morning, if I have the time
2) Use Pregaine shampoo to shampoo the hair
3) Use Hair Tonic recommended by Bee Choo after washing and drying the hair
I am also going to Bee Choo Hair Centre to get rid of all those impurities that block my scalp pores.
I know I am not the only one in Singapore losing my crowning glory, there are many who are like me losing their hair by the day.
Why are more and more Singaporeans losing hair? Is it due to the food we eat, or the stress we are facing?
My principle is I will battle hair loss till I lose my last strand of hair! On second thought, I will cherish whatever I have, my health and the simple pleasures of life, for there are others who are more unfortunated than people with hair losses: think of people battling with cancer and other more serious illness, and we shall be glad that ours are not as life-threatening though hair loss does still make one socially conscious.
Haiz, what to do? :( As everyone will lose their hair one day when getting old, let us treat ourselves as the pioneers in this area ba, though we definitely do not want to be!
